Shares of cryptocurrency companies rose Wednesday after the price of bitcoin rebounded following a slide prompted by the beginning of the conflict in the Middle East.
Coinbase Global jumped 12%. Strategy gained 9.4%. Robinhood Markets rose 6.4%. Circle Internet Group increased 4.9%.
Bitcoin rallied to about $71,800 early Wednesday, a jump of more than 5% from Tuesday afternoon.
Bitcoin originally slid to roughly $63,000 after the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran. Crypto companies also had fallen following the beginning of the conflict.
